Christmas Lunch 2016

Wednesday, December 14h is our annual Association Xmas Lunch and it will be held as usual at the YMCA Hawker Centre, Richmond Road.

The cost this year will be the same as last year at £16.50 per head. For those wishing to attend the Lunch, but were unable to be at the November Meeting and pay for their Lunches, you can send a cheque (made out to the Hawker Association) to Ken Batstone at 42 Kings Road, Walton on Thames, Surrey  KT12 2RA. You can phone him on 01932 229938 with any queries.

As usual, you are requested to arrive at the Hawker Centre between 12 and 12.30pm, when you will be greeted with a glass of wine and have time to chat to old friends (you probably last met at the 2015 Xmas Lunch!) before the meal is served at approximately 1pm.

The menu will be the same as last year with prawn cocktail or soup to start, followed by traditional roast turkey with trimmings or poached salmon for the main course. There will also be a vegetarian option.

Last year for dessert, Xmas Pudding was not on offer, but a fruit tart with cream or a slice of gateau was served. This will probably be repeated this year. The meal will finish with coffee and mince pies OR chocolate mints.

When you pay for your Lunch, will you please indicate if you want the poached salmon rather than turkey or if you require the vegetarian option.

If you feel outraged that no Xmas Pudding will be on offer, you may also indicate this!
