The annual Summer BBQ will be held as usual this year on the second Wednesday of June, namely Wednesday, 9th. It will be held in the normal venue of the Hawker Centre, Richmond Road, Kingston.

Providing the weather is kind, the food will be served alfresco on the Patio overlooking the Thames, but if early June turns precocious, as it did last year, the food will be served and consumed indoors.

Members and Guests are requested to arrive by 1pm, to allow for some "mingling" with friends and an aperitif (the Bar will be open).

For those who enjoy a little excitement after a meal, there will of course be The Raffle to look forward to!

Please do try and attend our BBQ this year; last year's attendance was disappointingly low. This was a shame because the quality of the food was very good and the attendees had a very enjoyable afternoon.

Your Committee looks forward to seeing you all on June 10th in warm sunshine!

The food will be served from 1.30pm and will consist of the usual BBQ fare (various salads, burgers, sausages, chicken and a vegetarian option followed by a choice of desserts). The cost of the BBQ has been kept to the same as last year; namely £12 per person.

Members may bring Partners, Family and Guests, but please let Ken Batstone know who is coming and pay for their tickets by June 2nd at the very latest, to enable the YMCA staff to cater for the right number of people. Again, please do this before June 2nd.
