Hawker Association Summer Barbecue

This year's Summer BBQ will be held as usual on the second Wednesday of June, that is to say Wednesday 8th June, 2011. The BBQ will be in the YMCA Hawker Centre in Richmond Road (the usual venue) commencing at 1pm.
The price has been kept at last year's level of £12 per head and all Members plus wives or Partners are welcome.
The Menu will be similar to last year's, that is to say a selection of chicken, burgers and sausages plus something for vegetarians. There will also be a selection of salads.
This will be followed by a dessert and then coffee.
Hopefully, the weather will be fine, when the food will be served outside on the Patio, but if the June weather decides to be inclement, the food will be consumed indoors.
Last year, the BBQ was excellent and enjoyed by all, but the attendance was quite poor, so this year please make an effort to attend; there will be plenty of time to socialise with old colleagues (that is to say colleagues of long-
The next Association Meeting on Wednesday, May 11th is the last chance to book your ticket direct from Ken Batstone. If you are unable to attend that Meeting, you can still get your tickets by sending him a cheque for £12 per head to 42 Kings Road, Walton on Thames, Surrey KT12 2RA. Please note that all tickets MUST be bought at least ONE WEEK BEFORE the Event; ie WEDNESDAY 1st June (this allows the Catering Staff to plan accordingly).
Cheques for ticket payment should be made out to The Hawker Association and NOT to Ken Batstone.
