Hawker Association Summer Barbecue Details update 13May16

All those who read the Newsletters and follow the Website will know that on Wednesday, June 8th, our annual Summer BBQ will be held as usual at the Hawker YMCA Centre, Richmond Road, Kingston upon Thames, commencing at 12.30pm.

The Menu and cost will be the same as last year, namely various cooked meats with assorted salads, followed by gateaux/cake and finishing with tea/coffee. The cost will be £14 per head.

You are requested to arrive about 12.30pm for some drinks (not included in the price) and socialising, with the food being served at a nominal 1.00pm.

Will those Members wishing to attend the BBQ, but were unable to attend the last Meeting and pay, please send their cheques, made out to The Hawker Association, to Ken Batstone at 42 Kings Road, Walton on Thames, Surrey, KT12 2RA. He's always delighted to receive your money!

Guests are very welcome at the BBQ and, provided the weather is kind, the afternoon will be as enjoyable as last year. Maybe even more so!

It should be noted that, unlike the Xmas Lunch, there will be the normal £2 charge to Members (not Guests) which pays for the hire of the Hall and the regular Raffle! All tickets MUST be bought by Friday, June 3 for catering purposes.
