Hawker Association Summer Barbecue 2017 Details update 25Apr17

Wednesday June 14th is the date for our annual Summer BBQ, which will be held as usual at the YMCA Hawker Centre in Richmond Road. Last year's event was very enjoyable with excellent food and very good weather.

This year, the cost will be the same as 2016 at £14 per head. The menu will be the usual selection of meats with various coleslaws and salads, followed by gateaux/ponges and finishing with tea or coffee.

It is hoped that many of you will be able to attend to enjoy the food, the company and a cool drink on the patio (the bar will be open).

You will be able to pay for the BBQ at the next Association Meeting on Wednesday, May 10th, otherwise send a cheque made out to The Hawker Association to Ken Batstone at 42 Kings Road, Walton on Thames, Surrey, KT12 2RA. Payments are required by Saturday June 10th at the latest to allow the caterers to plan their requirements. We look forward to seeing many of you on the day.

Note: unlike the Xmas Lunch, there will be the usual £2 Members' Attendance Fee to cover the charge for the Hall rental. Guests are not charged. There will be the usual raffle at the end of the afternoon.

Members and their guests are requested to arrive about 12.30pm for sociable drinking and chatting, before the food is served about 1.30pm.
