Dear Prospective Member,
Thank you for showing interest in the Hawker Association.
The aims of the Association are to keep alive the spirit and memories of the “Hawker” companies, to organise socials, meetings and events, to provide a means of communication between members, to publish a newsletter, to publicise “Hawker” achievements and to facilitate the preservation of artefacts, papers, photos, etc., at appropriate locations.
Membership is open to anyone who worked or works for any of the “Hawker” companies that operated from Brooklands, Kingston, Langley, Dunsfold, Hamble and Farnborough: Sopwith, Hawker, HSA, BAe and BAESystems. List of companies.
In addition membership may now, at the discretion of the Committee, also be granted to those people who share the interests and aims of the Association.
You are therefore invited to apply for membership of the Association by filling in the membership application form, and returning it to the Secretary with the membership fee, for consideration at the next Committee meeting. If for any reason the application is not agreed, your cheque will be returned to you.
