Summer Visit to
The RAF Museum London (Hendon)
on Wednesday 19 September
This year, the Association is organising a visit to the RAF Museum London near Hendon, Multimap. The plan is to travel independently to the museum and assemble at 12.30pm at the entrance to the ‘Milestones of Flight Hall’. Members can arrive earlier if they would like to spend more time there.
We will be split into groups and guided through the ‘Milestones to Flight Hall’ and the ‘Grahame White Factory’, the later being opened especially for us. Later in the day the Curator is hoping to arrange a small display of artefacts relating to the Sopwith and Hawker Companies for us to view.
