Kingston Retirement Association Walk Number 31 updated 2Apr03
Mogador, Mugswell, and Colley Hill


John Arthur is a member of both the Kingston Retirement Association and The Hawker Association. This is the 31st walk he has organised for the Kingston Retirement Association and members of the Hawker Association are invited to join him.


Please note that if you intend to come it is essential to let John know in advance so that he can make lunch arrangements for the correct number of people; contact details at the end.

This is a moderately easy walk in the Surrey countryside with some fine views from the North Downs Way on Reigate and Colley Hills.


Length: 6.5 miles, 3.5 hours approx + stops.


Start and Finish: At Margery Wood car park (NT) at far end of Margery Lane off the A217 just North of Junction 8 on M25. (Note: As A217 is a dual carriageway Margery Lane can only be accessed when travelling in Northerly direction from M25 J8 roundabout)


Grid Reference: 246 527 on OS Landranger Map 187.

Notes:

1) Lunch stop at The Well House Inn, Chipstead Lane, Mugswell, Surrey 12.45 onwards.

2) It has been decided to introduce a voluntary charge of £2 each in aid of the Royal Marsden Hospital. (the charity supported by the Kingston Retirement Association)

3) Members from the newly formed Hawker Association will be welcome
