Programme of Events 2022 updated 12Jan2023

    At 14:00 on the second Wednesday of each month there will be a meeting, normally at the YMCA Hawker (was the Hawker Sports and Social Club), Lower Ham Road, Kingston on Thames, Kingston, KT2 5BH unless indicated otherwise.
    There is a well stocked bar, and good inexpensive lunches and snacks are available. We hope members will avail themselves of these. There is plenty of free parking space.
Unfortunately due to Covid-19 all activities are provisional and may be changed to Zoom only, most talks should also be available by Zoom with notification and registration by email.

       Chris Hodson, son of Gordon Hodson the origanator and Project Director of the Hawk.       
Chris Wilson is the Managing director of Jet Art Aviation, providers of museum standard aircraft restorations.
     Group Captain Peter Bedford AFC is the son of our CTP, Bill Bedford.
    Tony Buttler is a leading aviation history writer. 
     General note. It is planned that meetings will be both live and by Zoom but may be affected by the Covid situation, as may the barbecue and FAST visit. Members will be kept informed by e-mail (as long as the Secretary has your address!)
     The next speaker is first in the list; after the event the speaker will be moved to the end of the list.
     Details of the BDAC visit will be distributed later but it will be up to Members to get themselves to Old Sarum, by arranging car sharing, perhaps. Hawk XX154 function demonstrations will be the star attraction.    
 Robin Trewinnard-Boyle had a long and varied career in the Royal Navy in engineering and flying, including the Sea Harrier and Harriers GR7 and T10. He also participated in the UK F-35B operational flight testing at NAS Pax River and at sea.  
Angela Bailey is Hawker test Pilot Frank Murphy’s daughter and has researched Frank’s life.
