On Wednesday 13 December there is the Xmas lunch; details. There is not a committee meeting in the morning.

On Wednesday 8 November Mark Zanker will talk on “Life with the Red Arrows”.There will be a committee meeting in the morning.

On Wednesday 11 October Lambert Dopping-Hepenstal will talk on UAVs. Lambert was a Kingston systems engineer and is now BAE Systems Engineering Director, Systems and Strategy, at Warton. Lambert had gone to Warton to continue with systems development work on the Tornado and Typhoon, he’d progressed to the wider brief of military aircraft research programmes, and then specialised on UAV’s. Given that UAVs are a relatively recent development in aviation it means that we may not know much about them so now is our opportunity to correct some gaps in our knowledge! There will be a committee meeting in the morning.

On Wednesday 27 September there is the annual Summer visit. This year it is to the RNAS (Royal Naval Air Station Yeolvilton) airside.

On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September there is a Richmond Road Factory Heritage Open Days centenary exhibition at the Hawker Centre.

On Wednesday 9 August there is a social meeting with a video. There will be a committee meeting in the morning.

On Wednesday 12 July Nick Kidd will talk on 48 years in a rotary dryer; his background is predominantly rotary wing. 20 years Fleet Air Arm; pilot, instructor, examiner, test pilot. 10 years industry test pilot and chief pilot. 17 years The Queen's Helicopter Flight Chief Training Captain. There will be a committee meeting in the morning.

22 June Sadly Colin Flint passed away on 16 June 2017. There will be a service and celebration of Colin’s life at 12:30 on 5 July at Woking Crematorium Hermitage Road, St John's, Woking, GU21 8TJ Tel: 01483 472197; only family flowers please. The celebration will continue at the Crown Hotel, 7 London street, Chertsey, KT16 8AP, Tel: 01932 564657.  Charity donations to Woking+Sam Beare Hospices, 5 Hill view Road, Woking. GU22 7HW please.

On Wed 10 May Lt Cmd Ian Sloan will talk on the Sea Harrier, Super Etendard and F-35B.  There will be a committee meeting in the morning.

On Wed 12 April there is the Annual General Meeting; please support your Association. After the formal AGM business is completed videos will be shown. Notice of AGM and membership Renew 2017. There will be a committee meeting in the morning.

On Wednesday 8 March Simon Hargreaves will talk on “Aircraft I have flown including F35x.” There will be a committee meeting in the morning.

On Wednesday 8 February  Gp Capt Jock Heron will talk on the F105 Thunderchief - There will be a committee meeting in the morning.
